White Buffalo Land Trust
Committed to practicing, promoting, and developing systems of regenerative agriculture.
White Buffalo Land Trust seeks to remove barriers to the rapid and broad-scale adoption of regenerative agriculture locally, regionally and globally.
White Buffalo Land Trust is striving to build Jamala Canyon Ranch - a 1000 acre ranch that will model financially viable, scaled Regenerative Agriculture.
These local solutions lead to regional and global impact through shared data, models, and linking practices to outcomes. The Ranch also will serve as a hub for education, training, and scientific research.
One of the key programs at White Buffalo Land Trust is to train current and aspiring land stewards in the principles and practices of regenerative agriculture.
They are the only accredited Savory Institute Hub in this region and they host a 10-day intensive Holistic Managed Grazing training course annually. The 26 students they trained in 2019 influence approximately 15,000 acres of land (12,000+ in White Buffalo’s county) that are now transitioning to regenerative practices.
